The significance that one day can have on the rest of our lives is astronomical. From globally celebrated holidays, to special days of remembrance that we share culturally, between friends, families, neighbours, loved ones, and even ourselves, big and small – some days require us to slow down and reflect more than others.
"WHEN DESIGNING WATCHES WE MEASURE HOURS, MINUTES AND SECONDS BUTS IT'S NICE TO ZOOM OUT FROM THE SMALL SCALE ONTO SOMETHING BIGGER."
"I’ve had the idea of making a limited edition of 365 pieces for quite some time," says David Ericsson, Designer and Founder of VOID Watches. "When designing watches we measure hours, minutes and seconds but it’s nice to zoom out from the small scale onto something bigger. This watch is intended to draw focus to those days in our lives that bare special significance."
THE LATIN PHRASE HOC DIE MEANING 'THIS DAY' IS PRINTED AS A RED ACCENT ABOVE SIX O'CLOCK, AS A GENTLE REMINDER TO SLOW DOWN AND ENJOY.
With that in mind we’ve created our latest model, the Limited Edition V03W-365. This timepiece not only tells the date, but also the day of the week. The Latin phrase hoc die, meaning ‘this day’ is printed as a red accent on the white dial above six o’clock, as a gentle reminder to slow down and enjoy.
The V03W-365 is sold as a Limited Edition Calendar Set. Designed in a classic colourway of gold and black, the 38mm stainless steel case is IP coated gold and comes with a raw-edged, natural black Swedish Tärnsjö vegetable tanned leather strap, which is sure to age beautifully with each wear. The watch is accompanied with an additional dark brown leather strap and a gold strap-changing tool.
To make the V03W-365 an even more complete gift the watch set also includes a modern perpetual wall calendar.
Celebrate the impact of a day in the year with the V03W-365 because we only have hoc die.
